Hi everyone,

As promised, many more products from One Piece, Riftbound, Magic, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Gundam, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney, and other popular lines will soon start trickling in. Keep an eye on our website for updates!

We initially started our social platforms to create an open forum where we can connect with the community and continue improving as we grow. With that in mind, I wanted to take a moment to talk about the current state of the card hobby and our approach as a business.

As many of you may be aware, the biggest challenge in today's market isn't pricing—it's supply. Demand for products like Pokémon continues to far exceed what's available, and quite frankly, everyone wants a piece of the pie. While we'd love to offer every product at MSRP or even below, the reality is that product costs and allocations are often outside of our control.

What we can control is how we operate. VTR's goal has always been simple: provide fair, competitive pricing based on our costs while remaining a trusted, convenient, and reliable place for everyone to shop. While we may be considered a larger shop, we're still tiny compared to national retailers that have access to significantly more product and preferred wholesale programs.

To be completely transparent, given the demand and the effort required to secure limited allocations, we could easily charge more or choose not to offer preorders at all to avoid the extra work involved behind the scenes. But we don't do that because we value the trust you've placed in us, and we want to share the pie—not keep it all for ourselves.

I've intentionally tried to keep the business relatively low-profile over the years because I'd rather have product available for customers who genuinely enjoy the hobby than have people lining up around the block for every release. My goal has always been to give people a fair opportunity to get what they're looking for with as little hassle as possible.

We're constantly working to bring in-demand products to our community, invest in the hobby side of VTR, and build one of the strongest selections in the country. Of course, maintaining that level of inventory and service every day comes at a cost. While some people may occasionally find certain products cheaper elsewhere, it's important to remember that convenience, reliability, selection, authenticity, and your time all have value too.

For those who don't know us yet, some of the things that set us apart include:

By no means do I claim to be the good guy or that we're the best. At the end of the day, I still have a business to run, employees to support, and bills to pay. What I can promise is that we'll continue working hard to secure hard-to-find products, offer competitive pricing, and provide a reliable one-stop shop.
